Determination of the Trace Element Contents of Fruit Juice Samples by ICP OES and ICP-MS
Max José Belo de Souza, María Carmen Barciela-Alonso, Manuel Aboal-Somoza, Pilar Bermejo-Barrera

Fruit juices were analysed for their contents in a series of essential and toxic elements. Samples were prepared using a microwave-assisted acid digestion, followed by ICP-OES or ICP-MS determination. The methods were validated, showing good precision, linearity and mean analytical recovery values.
